TempoStudy Sp. z o. o. (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to providing clear and transparent refund processes in compliance with German Civil Code (BGB), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and other applicable EU and German e-commerce regulations.

By purchasing any product or service through www.tempostudy.com, you agree to this Refund Policy.


1. Scope of this Policy

This policy applies to:

  1. Digital Products and Services: Webinars, online courses, e-books, consultations, and digital resources.
  2. Physical Products: Books, printed educational materials, and resources delivered physically.
  3. Program Fees: Fees paid for application processing, admissions consulting, or educational programs.
  4. Installment Payments: Payments made via split or deferred schedules.
  5. Third-Party Payments: Payments processed through Stripe, PayPal, or bank transfers.

2. Refund Eligibility

2.1 Digital Products and Services

Refund requests for digital products are subject to the following conditions:

  • Right of Withdrawal: Under § 356 BGB, customers may request refunds within 14 days of purchase if:
    • The product has not been downloaded, accessed, or used.
    • The service (e.g., consultation or webinar) has not commenced.
  • Exceptions: Refunds are not provided if:
    • The product has been downloaded or accessed.
    • You waived your right of withdrawal by agreeing to immediate access during purchase.

2.2 Physical Products

Refunds for physical products will be granted if:

  • Items are returned within 14 days of receipt in original, unused condition and packaging.
  • Proof of purchase is provided.
  • Defective or Incorrect Products:
    • Full refunds or replacements will be offered for products that arrive damaged or incorrectly shipped.
    • Return shipping costs are covered by us in such cases.

2.3 Program Fees

Refunds for program fees are based on the following schedule:

  • 7 Days Before Program Start: Full refund.
  • Within 7 Days of Start Date: Partial refund (75% of the fee; 25% administrative charge).
  • After Program Start: Refunds are not available.

If Tempo Study cancels the program, all participants are eligible for a full refund.


2.4 Installment Payments

Refunds for installment payments are handled as follows:

  • Refunds are calculated based on the portion of the product or service not yet delivered.
  • Any canceled installment agreements will incur a 10% administrative fee.
  • Refunds are only processed after all outstanding balances are settled.

2.5 Third-Party Payment Systems

Refunds for payments made via third-party systems (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, or Bank Transfer):

  • Refunds are subject to the policies of the respective payment provider.
  • Any transaction or service fees charged by the third-party platform may be deducted from the refund.
  • All refunds comply with GDPR requirements regarding secure payment data handling.

3. Refund Request Process

3.1 How to Submit a Refund Request

To request a refund, you must:

  1. Email: Send your request to info@tempostudy.com with the subject line: “Refund Request.”
  2. Include the Following Details:
    • Full name
    • Order ID or transaction reference number
    • Date of purchase
    • Product/service name
    • Reason for the refund request.
  3. Supporting Documentation: Attach relevant documents, such as payment receipts or photos (for physical items).

3.2 Refund Processing Timeline

  • Review Process: Refund requests will be reviewed within 10 business days.
  • Approval/Denial: You will be notified via email regarding the status of your request.
  • Refund Execution: Approved refunds will be processed as follows:
    • Bank Transfers: 5–7 business days
    • Credit/Debit Cards: 7–14 business days
    • Stripe/PayPal: 5 business days

3.3 Delayed Refunds

If you have not received your refund:

  1. Check your bank, card provider, or third-party payment account.
  2. Contact the payment provider for confirmation.
  3. Email us at info@tempostudy.com for further assistance.

4. Exceptions to Refund Policy

Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:

  • Personalized or Customized Services: Tailor-made programs or individual consultations.
  • Partially Delivered Services: Services or programs that have already commenced.
  • Late Refund Requests: Requests submitted after the specified eligibility periods.

5. Cancellations by Tempo Study

If Tempo Study cancels a service, product, or program:

  • A full refund will be issued within 10 business days.
  • Participants may opt to transfer to an alternative service, if available.

6. Legal Compliance

This Refund Policy adheres to the following regulations:

  1. German Civil Code (BGB): §§ 355–356 on consumer withdrawal rights.
  2. General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): Secure handling of payment data.
